Tatyana Volkova travels around Ukraine and introduces viewers to the most beautiful corners of our country. We, as a clothing brand Garne, also joined this initiative.

In this issue I will travel almost a thousand kilometers to show you the secret places of Transcarpathia. Our journey will be full of impressions and emotions, because we will discover Rakhivshchyna in a new way. We will find fantastic Carpathian landscapes, walk along wild paths in search of the Falls of Love, find a vat of mineral water, go for cabbage rolls all the way to the Romanian border, find out where the tallest trident in Ukraine is located, meet a craftswoman who makes unique paintings. The girls from the boarding school received clothes from the Garne brand.
The Garne brand donated clothes to children from the municipal institution “Velikomezhirytsia Special Secondary Educational Boarding School of I-II levels”. As part of the charity event, the girls were given an authentic fitting and photo shoot. They were delighted with the gifts and received a variety of things: dresses, skirts, suits, T-shirts, sweatshirts, trousers, etc. The girls were able to choose clothes to their liking and feel like real models; they happily tried on clothes and posed for the photographer. ;
There are about 70 pupils in the institution, they have different stories and different problems, but they really need attention and positive emotions.   
We are very glad that we can help children who find themselves in difficult circumstances, we hope that new clothes will give them joy and good mood. 

On December 14, a Lean tour for garment industry manufacturers took place in Garne. Tour participants had the opportunity to see in practice how the company applies Lean principles to increase efficiency and productivity. 
 
The tour began with a presentation from the founder of the brand Oksana Kharkina. She spoke about the history of the company, its development strategy and the features of applying the Lean methodology. 
Lean manufacturing is a system that helps businesses produce more products with less cost. It is based on such principles as:  

• Continuous improvement 
• Reduce losses 
• Attracting employees
• Improving quality 

However, successful implementation of Lean manufacturing requires a charged team that is ready for change.

On November 15, 2023, Garne conducted a Lean excursion for representatives of clothing enterprises from all over Ukraine. The excursion was made possible thanks to the Smart People business school and the support of the USAID program "Competitive Economy of Ukraine". 
 
During the tour, participants saw how Garne implements lean manufacturing principles to improve production efficiency and productivity by eliminating waste.
The excursion began with a presentation from the founder of the brand Oksana Kharkina, during which participants learned about the history of Garne, its mission and values. After the presentation, the participants visited the company’s production workshop, where they saw how Lean principles are implemented in practice. For example, how a company uses Lean tools such as 5S, KANBAN. 
 
5S is a system that aims to streamline and streamline the work environment. KANBAN is a system that is used to manage the flow of materials and information.    
Garne plans to continue to implement Lean principles, because it is an effective tool that can help enterprises increase their competitiveness.

Schoolchildren also got acquainted with the history of the founding of the Garne brand.

Everyone was delighted with the excursion. Students noted that Garne's production is modern and environmentally conscious, and that the company's office has a stylish design.

The excursion to the Garne clothing production was very useful and helped the schoolchildren form their own impression of the clothing business and its prospects.
