We have implemented a cool initiative for the graduates of the K.A.V.A. 25 girls received a 3-hour promotion of Rivne brands, master classes, a production tour and, of course, personalized gifts. True, they sewed the gifts themselves, because the highlight of the meeting was the opportunity to try yourself with professional sewing equipment.
The girls were blown away by Garne Store brand production, "quick name prints" and our good office and factory. I got a lot of positive feedback from girls. After the tour, some even signed up to join us at the Light Industry Association training studio, which is equipped with the help of the UN Women's Peace Fund and Humanitarian Aid (WPHF) Women's Peace & Humanitarian Fund and the UN Women Ukraine / UN Women in Ukraine project in Ukraine. The courses are free of charge and everyone has a unique opportunity to learn how to sew.
Almost two years ago, we thought about alternative energy sources for a garment factory. While they considered the payback of the solar power plant and planned the installation, the war began. This delayed the start of the project, but did not stop it. At some point, we decided that it was worth it, because Ukraine will definitely win and we need to continue to invest in our business and develop. Now we are proud to conduct tours of the factory and share our experience with other enterprises. And in the evening we check how much electricity we saved today.
Within the framework of the USAID project "Economic Support for Ukraine" at the National University "Ostroh Academy" Hackathon Digital Wear 2023 - Rivne, organized by KTS, Rivne It Cluster, National University "Ostroh Academy" and the Light Industry Association. About 100 participants gathered, including 10 teams of students from Rivne, Lutsk and Zhytomyr. The event contributed to new ideas, acquaintances and collaborations.
4 winning teams have been selected to work on their digital clothing projects over the next 3 months. Thanks to this event, I am increasingly involved in the field of education. It was a great pleasure to meet the rector of the Ostroh Academy, Igor Pasechnik, to feel his incredible energy and wisdom.

As part of "START IT" from NGO "Women's Interaction" and Rivne College of Information Technologies К We were visited by students of the Rivne Lyceum “YUKI” and IDPs. Children had the opportunity to get acquainted with the professions encountered in the production of clothing and personally see the process of its creation. During the tour, we actively involved students in various interactive activities. They could see and get acquainted with Rivne clothing and haberdashery brands and compare them with well-known world brands. It was nice to see how the dress from Garne was equated with the global brands H&M and Zara and everyone was surprised that it was our local production. With this task, we showed the students the potential of Ukraine, including Rivne in the field of fashion. Our brands compete with well-known international companies and create new trends. Another interesting task was to connect the names of fabrics with their patterns, so the students learned about different fabrics, what clothes they are used for, and then had the opportunity to observe how these fabrics turn into fashion products. We showed all business processes in production, from cutting and sewing to packaging and content creation. And of course, the process of printing, which always causes the greatest enthusiasm among students. This excursion provided valuable hands-on experience and inspired them for a future in fashion. Schoolchildren had the opportunity to get to know the world of fashion production professions and perceive it as a potential career industry.
July 1, an important thematic event took place in the city of Rivne - Light Industry Day!
✔️The event was organized in order to get the people of Rovno closer acquainted with local brands and their products.
✔️A fashion show in different colors of our Summer Collection was organized for the guests, as well as a professions fair where they could join the GARNE team.
✔️In the city center, we organized our own showroom, where you could try on and buy clothes from our brand.
✔️A charity lottery was held in our showroom, the funds from which were transferred to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Lottery winners received great gifts from partners☺️
