And this comfortable shoe appeared thanks to one German man, it is not difficult to guess that it was from his last name that the name of the shoe appeared. Konrad Birkenstock invented and patented an orthopedic insole, but the emu failed to make these shoes popular. Even after the Birkenstocks came to America, they were not recognized by the general public and did not receive universal love.
But more recently, designers, drawing inspiration from the "long forgotten past" stumbled upon a comfortable shoe and decided to give it a second chance. Thanks to Zara, Top Shop, Celine, Givenchy, birkenstocks have finally gained popularity.
It may seem to gentle and romantic natures that these shoes are not worth their attention, as they are quite rough and not entirely attractive, but here the designers did their best! There really is plenty to choose from! classic black and white, bright colors, as well as unusual prints, such as geometric, neon with iridescence, with silver and gold glitter.
The first thing I want to advise for creating a fashionable and very comfortable look is a skirt. Everything is unrealistically simple! A skirt can and should be worn not only with delicate pumps with heels and sandals, but also with simpler shoes.
Birkenstocks look great with loose elongated skirts and flying and even puffy sundresses. If the skirt option is not to your liking, then opt for a more standard look, such as the ever-fashionable denim look. The easiest way is to combine light summer shorts and birkenstocks, the bow turns out to be airy and light, and most importantly, in such shoes you will walk a much greater distance during summer walks, since comfort is paramount.
