On November 15, 2023, Garne conducted a Lean excursion for representatives of clothing enterprises from all over Ukraine. The excursion was made possible thanks to the Smart People business school and the support of the USAID program "Competitive Economy of Ukraine". 
 
During the tour, participants saw how Garne implements lean manufacturing principles to improve production efficiency and productivity by eliminating waste.
The excursion began with a presentation from the founder of the brand Oksana Kharkina, during which participants learned about the history of Garne, its mission and values. After the presentation, the participants visited the company’s production workshop, where they saw how Lean principles are implemented in practice. For example, how a company uses Lean tools such as 5S, KANBAN. 
 
5S is a system that aims to streamline and streamline the work environment. KANBAN is a system that is used to manage the flow of materials and information.    
Garne plans to continue to implement Lean principles, because it is an effective tool that can help enterprises increase their competitiveness.

Schoolchildren also got acquainted with the history of the founding of the Garne brand.

On September 16, the women's clothing brand Garne held a shopping day for women entrepreneurs of the Goshchansky Society.

The event took place in the Garne offline store in the city of Rivne.

As you know, all women love shopping, but often they do not have enough time for themselves. Most of them have businesses, jobs, volunteering, and hobbies. Therefore, the Garne team created a special event where women could feel even more beautiful and confident.

On September 8, a Lean tour of manufacturers to the Garne factory took place. The tour was made possible thanks to the support of the USAID “Competitive Economy of Ukraine” program.

Participants are owners and representatives of clothing enterprises from all over Ukraine. They had the opportunity to see our experience in implementing lean production in practice. We introduced them to the history of our company, showed the main manufacturers the Lean processes and tools used in production (Kanban board, tool boards, moving equipment, standards, etc.)

The Garne company became acquainted with Lean back in 2019, and since then we have been increasing production efficiency, constantly improving, learning and are ready to share experience with other manufacturers.

What improvements did Lean bring to us:

September 5, students who study "Computer'literacy" in Action.Business. Traditionally, our excursions for children are always remembered, because this is not just an excursion, but real quests, logic tasks and interesting games.

During this excursion, the schoolchildren had the opportunity to see how clothes are made, what fabrics are used and what stages the production goes through. They also got acquainted with the work of our online store.
