Garne takes on the production of schoolchildren

As part of "START IT" from NGO "Women's Interaction" and Rivne College of Information Technologies К We were visited by students of the Rivne Lyceum “YUKI” and IDPs. Children had the opportunity to get acquainted with the professions encountered in the production of clothing and personally see the process of its creation. During the tour, we actively involved students in various interactive activities. They could see and get acquainted with Rivne clothing and haberdashery brands and compare them with well-known world brands. It was nice to see how the dress from Garne was equated with the global brands H&M and Zara and everyone was surprised that it was our local production. With this task, we showed the students the potential of Ukraine, including Rivne in the field of fashion. Our brands compete with well-known international companies and create new trends. Another interesting task was to connect the names of fabrics with their patterns, so the students learned about different fabrics, what clothes they are used for, and then had the opportunity to observe how these fabrics turn into fashion products. We showed all business processes in production, from cutting and sewing to packaging and content creation. And of course, the process of printing, which always causes the greatest enthusiasm among students. This excursion provided valuable hands-on experience and inspired them for a future in fashion. Schoolchildren had the opportunity to get to know the world of fashion production professions and perceive it as a potential career industry.
