Schrobing - spring trend

Browsing through street style photos from different fashion weeks, you can easily see how the guests of the shows compete with each other: who has the more fashionable look. Here is one of the latest trends noticed among the guests of fashion weeks - this is schrobing.

Now you will make surprised eyes and think: “What is this fancy word?”. And everything is very simple! Translated from English shoulder (shoulder) and robbing (steal, take away). This is one of the ways to wear outerwear, which exposes the shoulders. In fact, this trend was brought into fashion by the Balenciaga brand at the show of the autumn-winter 2016-2017 season.

Then fashionista did not take schrobing literally and missed this trend by themselves. But soon Kim Kardashian applied the stylistic trick on herself, wearing a basic nude trench coat with dropped shoulders. The star tied a belt around her waist and completed the look with high boots. Kim was followed by sisters Hadid, Rihanna and other silvers.

In fact, schrobing was already popular. If you look closely at the fashion photographs of the 50s, you can trace the same trend: dresses with a deep neckline from  Christian Dior and capes casually draped over the shoulders from Cristóbal Balenciaga, which once again confirms that modern fashion is a well-forgotten old one!

If you want to stand out from the crowd, then schrobing is for you! But it is worth bearing in mind - with the "bare shoulders" function; not all outerwear can cope. Rigid and dense fabric of certain styles is not suitable for schrobing, but soft and light fabric is ideal. It is also important to remember that bags do not get along well with this thread.
