Lean tour of clothing enterprises to the Garne factory
On September 8, a Lean tour of manufacturers to the Garne factory took place. The tour was made possible thanks to the support of the USAID “Competitive Economy of Ukraine” program.
Participants are owners and representatives of clothing enterprises from all over Ukraine. They had the opportunity to see our experience in implementing lean production in practice. We introduced them to the history of our company, showed the main manufacturers the Lean processes and tools used in production (Kanban board, tool boards, moving equipment, standards, etc.)
The Garne company became acquainted with Lean back in 2019, and since then we have been increasing production efficiency, constantly improving, learning and are ready to share experience with other manufacturers.
What improvements did Lean bring to us:
- Increasing production productivity;
- Reducing the defect rate;
- Cost reduction;
- Continuous improvements and process improvements.
Garne is open to cooperation with other enterprises that want to increase the efficiency and competitiveness of production using Lean technologies.
