Pantone names the main colors of 2016
More precisely, this year two shades of – rose quartz and pale lavender. When paired, they resemble the colors of the sky at dawn, when the sun is just beginning to rise.
Representatives of the Color Institute noted that the selected shades are symbols of gender equality in society. In addition, blue has a calming effect and is also associated with peace and relaxation, while rose quartz symbolizes compassion and is strongly associated with mercy.
Thus, according to color experts, the balance of warm and cold shades has a relaxing and calming effect, thanks to which it will help fight daily stress.
