These are shoes on a low flat platform - and it can be both in the form of boots and sandals.
Celebrities have long been dissecting flatforms, because they are comfortable shoes and a great alternative to heels - the platform easily adds at least 4-5 centimeters to height. If someone considers flatforms to be rough shoes, then they are deeply mistaken! Thick soles were first worn by Japanese geisha, who, as you know, personify femininity, chastity and aristocracy. Such shoes were then called "geta" and was terribly uncomfortable - such sandals were in the form of a bench (from above they looked like rectangles with rounded tops). Modern platform shoes are not only comfortable, but also light.
Famous designers and clothing brands have also armed themselves with the fashion trend. Such shoes can be seen in the collections of Phillip Lim, Prada, Chanel and in more democratic brands - Jeffrey Campbell, Tory Burch, Topshop, Zara. Flatforms go great with a variety of casual outfits. For example, shorts with a T-shirt, overalls, or even a romantic dress and skirt. These shoes are perfect with denim - whether it's boyfriend jeans or pipes. Sportier or more elegant - everyone can choose a pair to their taste. Also, flatforms should not be carried away by girls of short stature. Despite the fact that they add a few centimeters, they simultaneously cut the silhouette into pieces. In such cases, it is better to choose a flesh-colored flatform.
Despite the uniqueness and convenience of this shoe, experts categorically do not recommend it. The fact is that with the slightest surface irregularities, such a specific flatform design is very unstable and can easily provoke leg injury. For that matter, high heels are dangerous too! Just do not abuse them, or choose a type of flatform that has a low sole.
